Here's some exciting news to announce about the up coming Linda Emmick Memorial Race. I think everyone will agree that Joey Hand has had an enourmous impact on the sport of karting and the Emmick Brand. He is going to add his support to our race.

Joey's calendar is not going to allow him to attend the race but Joey Hand Racing is going to sponsor both the Senior 80 Shifter and Senior Yamaha classes. We are very pleased to announce that with this sponsorship each of these classes will pay $300.00 to win, $200.00 for 2nd and $100.00 for 3rd. We are very thankful to Joey for all of his support to the sport of karting and I think we all agree this could bring back some kart counts like the old days. Please keep in mind, we know that racing for money might change some people's mind about how they drive but let's start by saying there will be ZERO TOLERANCE FOR AGGRESSIVE DRIVING. I know we can all race professionally and make this a race to remember. As we get closer there will be further details about this part of the race. Also for the race we will be available to make another sponsorship announcement for both TaG Senior and TaG Masters. The details are almost finalized and we will get you that information very shortly.

The track will be closed from Friday, June 20th through Monday the 23rd. We have the track rented out for SuperMoto that weekend and it will finally give Bill & me a chance to take a couple days off to relax before the big race. This gives us three full practice weekends available to get ready for the Inaugural Linda Emmick Memorial.

Please watch your email and we will make sure to keep everyone updated on future exciting news as things progress.

Practice for this Weekend May 31 & June 1

A quick note about this coming weekend, Hangtown is here and their event will be both Friday and Saturday. We will be open all weekend, with the exception of maybe closing a little early on Saturday. Hangtown's main event is going to be broadcasted live on TV and our thoughts were to beat the rush of spectators leaving the race which is usually around 5pm. Any further questions please let us know.
